Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead their maintenance team in ensuring optimal performance of equipment, facilities, and infrastructure. This role requires a proactive leader who can drive operational excellence, manage budgets, and prioritize safety and efficiency. The Maintenance Manager will play a critical role in maintaining operational continuity and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:Recruit, supervise, and develop a high-performing maintenance teamProvide ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay abreast of technical advancementsFoster a collaborative, safety-first culture that emphasizes accountability and excellenceOversee all maintenance activities, ensuring equipment, building systems, and grounds are operational and well-maintainedSupport technicians in diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical issues to minimize downtimeDevelop and implement preventive maintenance programs to improve reliability and efficiencyManage department budgets, including costs related to repairs, parts, labor, and outsourced servicesOptimize resource allocation while adhering to financial goals and objectivesAnalyze equipment breakdowns and other inefficiencies to identify root causes and implement solutionsChampion continuous improvement initiatives to reduce operational losses and enhance performanceEnsure strict compliance with all OSHA regulations and company safety policies, including LockoutTagout and other safety programsConduct regular safety audits, inspections, and training to uphold a safe work environmentActively participate in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs to promote workplace safetyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support production goalsHandle other duties as assigned to support the needs of the organization Maintenance Manager Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience and 4+ years in a supervisory roleAlternatively, a High School Diploma or Technical School Certificate with 8+ years of maintenance experience and 5+ years in managementProven experience leading maintenance teams in a fast-paced environment, ideally within a Fortune 500 or similar organizationStrong expertise in maintenance management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysisDemonstrated ability to manage budgets, prioritize tasks, and drive continuous improvementFamiliarity with safety regulations (OSHA, EHS) and compliance requirementsExceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills If this position interests you, please apply today!
