This leadership role combines technical proficiency with operational management, where you will guide a team of engineers to ensure high-quality, efficient project delivery. You will be responsible for managing resources, meeting deadlines, and maintaining industry standards across various projects.Key responsibilities include:Lead and manage a mechanical engineering team, ensuring effective resource allocation for successful project completion.Supervise and mentor engineering staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous development.Work closely with project managers to define project scope, complexity, and scheduling needs.Provide technical leadership to ensure high-quality engineering solutions are delivered on time.Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations while maintaining a focus on sustainability and efficient design practices.Oversee the distribution of tasks and resources to meet deadlines.Contribute to business development efforts, offering technical insights during proposal preparation.Ensure timely delivery of projects with a focus on quality and cost control.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Professional Engineering (PE) license is required.A minimum of 10 years of experience in designing mechanical systems for large-scale projects.Proven experience in managing and developing engineering teams.Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Familiarity with energy modeling software is a plus.Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, or similar design tools is an advantage.Additional certifications in sustainability or high-performance buildings are a plus.
