This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for financial accuracy and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Serve as a key point of contact for multi-location communication regarding payment and approval processes.Take ownership of daily vendor communication, ensuring timely responses and resolution of inquiries.Set up new vendors in NetSuite and maintain up-to-date vendor master data.Update weekly financial schedules for the management team, providing insights and actionable data.Process electronic payments with precision and care.Prepare month-end journal entries with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.Oversee the annual 1099 filings, ensuring compliance and accuracy.Create and refine standard operating procedures to ensure streamlined workflows.Actively seek opportunities to improve and automate accounting processes, leveraging technology to increase productivity.Cross-train with team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages growth and development.Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives, bringing your expertise to a variety of tasks as needed.Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.At least two years of experience as a staff accountant or in accounts payable.A proactive, hands-on mentality and a desire to contribute to the team's success.Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and a solid understanding of financial termediate Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.Experience with NetSuite ERP is a plus!Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong organizational skills with an exceptional attention to detail.A dedication to driving results and continuously improving accounting processes.The ability to adapt and thrive in a change-oriented environment.
