Various Medical Billing Roles for High Volume, Multi-Provider Oncology Practice in AtlantaSeeking experienced, hands-on and self-motivated employees to join our Billing Team! The following open positions are listed below:1. INSURANCE VERIFICATION SPECIALIST- (i.e., Responsible for verifying patients' insurance coverage, ensuring that claims are processed accurately, handling insurance-related inquiries, communicating with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers to obtain necessary information and resolve issues related to insurance coverage, utilize knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10 and HCPCS coding.).2. DRUG AUTHORIZATION SPECIALIST - (i.e., Obtaining prior authorizations for drugs, surgeries and services requiring insurance carrier preauthorization, communicate with insurance payers for prior authorization approval, appeal insurance companies after prior authorization refusals, assess accounts for completeness and accuracy, follow up on missing or incorrect information so patients receive the right reimbursement).3. PAYMENT POSTER - (i.e. Oversee payment intake and post payments reconciliation processes, responsible for accepting, processing and reconciling payments from patients and insurance payers, conducts audits and prepares reports for billing cycle).4. INSURANCEPATIENT AR COLLECTOR - (i.e., Tracking unpaid claims, denied claims, discrepancies, and the like with various insurance companies, collecting and managing insurance payments from both payers and patients).A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in physician coding and billing is required, preferably within Oncology, Gastroenterology, Pharmacy andor Infusion, or related experience preferred. Experience with billing for Medicare, Medicaid and other third parties is required. Prior experience with Centricity or other electronic medical records (EMR) highly petitive rates and benefits!
