With a diverse portfolio and a team ofseasoned experts, we are at the forefront of the healthcare revolution.About the RoleThe Morningside Digital Health portfolio spans 35+ companies that are addressing thebiggest challenges in healthcare globally. As an Investment Professional (PortfolioAcceleration) on the Digital Health Team, you will primarily support Morningside'secosystem development efforts, which include health systems, health plans and other VCfirms. You will have a front row seat to the ways in which healthcare's key stakeholdersadopt digital technology and will utilize these insights to accelerate portfolio companygrowth, develop new models for technology adoption, and help shape Morningside'sinvestment thesis development and diligence.You will work with a highly collaborative group of Digital Health Investment Professionalsand advisors to manage our existing ecosystem and achieve the highest possible impact onhealthcare through our portfolio.Key Responsibilities• Develop a strong familiarity with Morningside portfolio companies and potentialnew investments, with the ability to communicate the value of portfolio companiesto senior leadership at health systems and health plans• Conduct market intelligence on potential partners and segments relevant to PortCos• Track key KPIs related to ecosystem development efforts and develop strategies forcontinued engagement• Conduct independent analysis to support new investment due diligence efforts onan as-needed basis• Lead external meetings that lead to creative relationships and partnershipstructures that accelerate Morningside's mission and portfolio• Ensure scoped engagements with Morningside ecosystem partners result inintended outcomes through effective project management and coordination• Serve as an external ambassador for Morningside's portfolio companies throughindustry events, conferences and relationship development• Collaborate directly with company Board Members and Morningside InvestmentProfessionals to understand portfolio company GTM strategies and needs• Deeply understand healthcare business models and value drivers• Establish programming to facilitate exposure for Morningside portfolio companies topotential partners and capital sourcesQualifications:• 2-5 years of full-time experience working with healthcare startups or enterprises,with significant exposure to strategy and business development functions• 2-5 years of direct or adjacent experience with venture capital funds• Strong oral communication skills, with the ability to influence senior decisionmakers• Familiarity with the key components of healthcare flow of funds, with the ability tothink creatively about direct and channel partners for portfolio companies• Experience facilitating discussions with multiple senior level stakeholders, with theability to craft engaging programming• Strong market research skills, with the ability to derive insights from healthcareindustry data• Exceptional PowerPoint and Excel skillsWhat We Look For:• Healthcare Expertise: You enjoy staying up to date on the healthcare industry'scurrent trends, and have a solid understanding of health system and health planstructures, incentives and priorities• Trusted Advisor: You are comfortable presenting to senior level audiences, and arequick to establish meaningful relationships with them• Comfort with Ambiguity: You thrive when taking on projects with limited direction,and proactively find ways to expand the impact of what you work on• Orientation Towards Results: You have a mindset of continuous improvement, andstrive to achieve both short term and long term results.Please note: This role will be based in our Cambridge, Massachusetts office.
