Springer Capital, LLC ("Springer") is seeking a Senior Analyst Associate to join its Asset Management team. Springer is a pro-active real estate private equity firm focused on the opportunistic acquisition of multifamily properties across the Southeast. This position will work closely with the Asset Management and Investment teams to maintain and grow the portfolio, currently consisting of 7,000+ units.RESPONSIBILITIES:Review and analyze property level financial reporting vs. budget, including cash flow and expense analysis, risk factors, operational efficiencies, and re-forecasting.Coordinate, prepare, and present monthly financial reporting to internal investment team.Track and execute property-specific capital projects and business plans with third-party property management teams.Identify and implement income generating and cost reducing strategies.Coordinate annual budgeting process between Springer and third-party property management, including Capex visits across the portfolio.Oversee third-party property management with budget overage requests and related property vendors, ensuring performance and expenses are consistent with annual budget assumptions.Maintain and update master data file to track relevant operating and capital expenses across all the portfolio to identify market and property specific cost saving opportunities.Review, approve and help negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers.Aggregate and summarize performance of each property across the portfolio for quarterly investor reporting.Perform frequent asset management site visits to properties. QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of 2-4+ years of progressive, relevant experience in commercial real estate asset management or acquisitions. Institutional real estate experience preferred, not required.Understanding of the macro and micro drivers of real estate values to monitor portfolio investments.Strong financial modeling skills, and proven analytical abilities in real estateExpert in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointAbility to work autonomously, be proactive, multi-task, and work in a lean groupStrong work ethic, integrity, and ability to thrive in an unstructured environmentExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsCommitted to delivery of highest quality work product and attention to detailAbility to work under tight deadlines, effectively prioritize, and handle multiple tasksSTART DATE: ImmediateLOCATION: Philadelphia, PA (In-Person)COMPENSATION: $120,000 - $150,000.
