Job SummaryThe Logistics Analyst will assume responsibility for ensuring all implants and instrumentation are delivered and confirmed to support surgery. The Logistics Analyst will work closely with Onkos Surgical's Distributors and Sales team to ensure surgeon and hospital needs are identified, sourced, and then delivered on time. The Logistics Analyst will be required to develop a detailed understanding of Onkos Surgical's products, distribution partners, customers, service model, freight carriers, distribution center operation and most importantly our surgeon customers' needs. This Logistics Analyst will be required to continuously develop this knowledge base in order to provide world class customer service. The role will require order management, inventory tracking and reporting. The role will require developing strong relationships with the Sales Team and Distributors as well as an intimate knowledge of Onkos Surgical Sales Geography in order to move inventory efficiently and on short notice.ResponsibilitiesAdhere to Onkos Core Beliefs, Code of Business Conduct, all regulatory requirements and quality standards.Support company advocacy initiatives to help raise awareness of sarcoma and pediatric cancer and drive positive change that will impact the lives of cancer patients.Support logistics needs of the company between the hours of 11:30am and 8:00pm EST from headquarters in Parsippany, NJ (preferred). Qualified remote candidates considered from other time zones to cover these hours.Maintain a strong knowledge of Onkos products.Partner with Sales Representatives to understand what products are required to support surgeries and place orders to support those cases.Find creative solutions to source all inventory needed for surgery (in cases of stock outs at warehouse).Negotiate with distribution partners and freight carriers and convince them to go the "extra mile" to ensure surgery needs are met even when logistical interruptions arise.Work closely with third party logistics partner to follow up on orders in progress, troubleshoot orders as required to ensure product delivery and provide status to Sales Representatives.Advocate for the most efficient use of inventory, track inventory throughout the US, provide daily inventory status, perform inventory transfers to ensure accuracy of electronic consignment locations and monitor expiring field inventory and ensure its return to the Distribution Center.Perform associated sales data management tasks (Transfer Order Creation, Sales Order Creation, Sales Order Closure, Surgical Calendar Tracking, Courier Order Creation).Perform master data entry into the ERP system (e.g. Customer Master, Price Lists).Perform additional tasks as required.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or Supply Chain (preferred).2+ years of experience in medical device logistics, customer service or technical support (a plus).Passion to serve and be an advocate for patients by supporting the needs of their caregivers and the Onkos Surgical sales team.Ability to master the technical aspects of orthopedic devices.Self-motivated, able to work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.Ability to create a strong sense of trust and reputation for success with distribution network and customers.Possesses instincts to proactively seek solutions and present options to challenges.Strong attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and oral and written communication skills.Support on-call hours and work overtime as required.About Onkos SurgicalAt Onkos Surgical, we believe individuals with cancer requiring surgery deserve solutions designed specifically for them.
