Jacobs Levy Equity Management, located in Florham Park, NJ, is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Lead or Engineer to support quality assurance in applications. This role is to lead or assist in the automation and improvement in the testing of application systems that support our proprietary quantitative investment strategies. Primary ResponsibilitiesThe QA Lead will be responsible for leading and building the QA team; the QA Engineer will contribute towards achieving the team's goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing software applications and overseeing their change management processes in the firm, including the following:Develop QA test automation framework including evaluating automation test tools and proof of conceptsPerform hands-on software quality assurance and automation testing to ensure specifications are metMaintain the test data for automation deliverables and assist in writing efficient, reusable automated test planscasesPrepare the necessary data to cover various automation scenarios and write SQL scripts to verify the database updates, insertion and deletion of the recordsResponsible for integrating and improving the change management processes including bug tracking, source control, CICD, and release managementManage and automate software (C++, .Net, C#) deployment using Git, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, etc.RequirementsThe role requires the following of the successful candidate:Master's degree in EngineeringComputer Science or equivalentMinimum of four (4) years of experience of Software Quality AutomationWorking knowledge with bug tracking, source control, build CICD automation, release management & deployment automation solutionsExperience in creating, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts at the code level; Experience with Google Test or Microsoft Unit test tools is a plusBe able to work within an Agile environment, processes, and toolsComfortable with collaboration, open communication and reaching across Development, QA, Operations, and cross functional teamsPrior experience in C++ andor C# is a plusGood communication skills and the ability to work well in a teamThe culture at Jacobs Levy emanates from our founders' entrepreneurial spirit, collaborative relationship, and dedication to research.
