Matura Farrington is partnering with a fantastic Downtown LA firm that is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to support their Real Estate practice group. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex real estate deals, including pre- and post-closing duties, while contributing to the success of the firm's clients and team.What You'll Do:Title, Survey, and Zoning: Review title exception documents, draft title memos, negotiate pro forma title insurance policies, and coordinate zoning reports.Leasing: Draft leases, amendments, and other leasing documents, ensuring accuracy and attention to anizational Documents: Prepare, review, and file organizational documents, obtain EINs, and handle business qualifications in various states.Loans and Transactions: Prepare closing checklists, draft agreements, review judgmentlien searches, and finalize documents for closings.Closing & Post-Closing: Oversee signature logistics, coordinate with title companies, file UCC financing statements, and prepare closing binders.Due Diligence & Logistics: Participate in checklist calls, coordinate closing logistics, and manage communication with clients and title companies.What We're Looking For:At least 5+ years of paralegal experience, with substantial expertise in commercial real estate andor real estate lending.Knowledge of title insurance policies, lease agreements, and organizational documentation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills.Exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and candidates must meet California statutory paralegal requirements.The firm prides itself on fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.
