Why Should You Consider This Role?Hands-On Leadership: Supervise accounting and budgeting for multiple entities.Critical Team Member: Be a key contributor to their mission and success.Dynamic Environment: Excel in a setting where deadlines and accountability matter.Key Responsibilities:Report to the Director of Finance.Plan, oversee, and coordinate accounting functions.Manage multiple small to mid-sized organizations.Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules.Coordinate internal and external audits.Review annual tax returns and compliance reports.Conduct financial and management analyses.Participate in budget development and recommend adjustments.Assess and improve current accounting operations.Supervise 3-5 individuals and provide training.Manage special financial projects.What Our Client Is Looking For:Experience: At least 5 years in leading accounting and financial reporting.Education: BS in Accounting and active CPA licensed (required).Skills: Knowledge of tax laws and GAAP, proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS applications, and strong database skills (preferably with Oracle NetSuite).Attributes: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
