Our client, a commercial property and multi-family restoration company, is seeking to add a Master Electrician to their team in Milwaukee, WI. This is a direct hire position with 1st shift hours Monday - Friday. This position will pay based on relevant experience and will include a full benefits package of healthdentalvision insurance, PTO, and a 401k match. Job Overview:The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential and commercial buildings. The Master Electrician will also be responsible for supervising and training other electricians on the team. Responsibilities:Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential and commercial buildingsSupervise and train other electricians on the teamEnsure all work is completed in compliance with local and national electrical codesTroubleshoot and diagnose electrical problemsRead and interpret blueprints and technical diagramsCollaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budgetMaintain a safe and clean work environmentStay updated and read the job schedule, scope, and documents laid out by the project andor service manager and customerEnsure you have the proper materials and tools to perform the work at each job safely prior to the scheduled datetimeAbility to learn and utilize through training a variety of testing equipment including Infrared Cameras, DLRO, TTR, Ultrasonic, Megger (insulation resistance)Working with both the management team and apprentices, working safely and efficiently at all timesCommunicating work progresschanges with the customer, office andor managerCreate and provide timely work orders to support accurate and timely invoicing to the customer QualificationsCompletion of an apprenticeship program and a valid Master Electrician licenseMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Master ElectricianStrong knowledge of local and national electrical codesAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagramsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment
