Please ONLY local candidates to Seattle WA.Top Skills:PhD or MS in immunology, cell biology, or a related discipline Post-doctoral andor analytical assay development experience is highly desirable, preferably within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industryCell Culture experienceCell Engineering experience preferred In-depth understanding of cell biology, with a preference for expertise in T cell activation and suppressionTechnical experience in developing cell-based assaysKnowledge of cGxP requirements is preferredWork Location: Seattle WA Pay: $73-74hour W2Responsibilities:Seeking a Scientist within Cell Therapy to lead potency assay development and functional characterization for cell therapy productsThis position involves developing state-of-the-art potency assays to support the company's portfolio of preclinical and clinical-stage cell therapiesThe ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cell biology, preferably T cell biology, and expertise in designing and developing functional assaysThis role requires close collaboration with potency team members to ensure the development of high-quality functional assaysResponsible for developing potency assays for both early- and late-stage development programs, as well as creating fit-for-purpose biological characterization assaysAdditionally, responsible for training and transferring these assays to internal and external QC labsContributes to the formulation of sound scientific strategies to ensure regulatory acceptance of biological assays in clinical developmentAccountable for the generation, documentation, and analysis of experimental resultsOversees experimental design, execution, data review and analysis, document writing, and contributions to regulatory submissionsEnsures timely communication of data, draws appropriate conclusions, and designs subsequent stepsParticipates in project and program team meetings to present data and provide updatesCollaborates with stakeholders in partner organizations on technical and strategic activitiesDevelops engineered cell lines to support assay developmentProven history of applying rigorous scientific principles to achieve technical accomplishments
