Our client is a leading food manufacturing company that prides themselves on customer service and transparency. They are a full-service USDA inspected, processing business. Our client is looking to bring onboard a Maintenance Manager in Minneapolis, MN. They will be responsible for the management and implementation of the personal safety program. Ensure all maintenance staff follow GMP's, Safety, Operational and Company guidelinespolicies. Ensures daily checks and effective communication amongst all shifts of Mechanics, Leads, and department Managers. Responsibilities:Hands on working with maintenance staff on projectsEnsure that all activities follow our GMP's, HACCP, and SQF system for food safety requirements.Proactively manage plant maintenance, identifying current and future maintenance needs.Manage safety program as Safety Program Manager to ensure compliance and effectiveness.Ensures permanent solutions are implemented for re-occurring problems.Ensures all department and organizational training is completed and recorded appropriately.Manages maintenance inventory to ensure availability and to minimize production equipment down timeManage CMMS work orders and PM's.Trains mechanics on an ongoing basis to ensure safety training compliance.Maintain calm, positive demeanor in all interactions, support the company's core values and lead by example The Ideal Candidate Will Have:Minimum 3 years of Maintenance Supervision experience5 years Production Maintenance Technician experience What we will offer:An attractive salary, and healthcare packageAn amazing opportunity to grow your career with an industry leaderIf you are someone that is ideal for this position and have a passion to be part of a high potential food company, please submit your resume in Microsoft Word format - and don't forget to include your accomplishments and achievements on your resume!
