It is also a serious business.Position: Interior Design AssistantSupport all aspects of the design process, with a focus on CAD, 2D, and 3D modeling.Are you a proactive, detail-oriented professional simply dying to gain hands-on experience in luxury residential design and grow within a leading studio? Read on...Responsibilities:Create compelling design proposals and client presentations.Draft precise digital floor plans, elevations, detail drawings, and RCPs in pile detailed schedules for plumbing, hardware, finishes, lighting, etc.Prepare work orders for design showrooms and vendor RFPs.Maintain and manage the sample library, including placing sample orders.Track FF&E orders and oversee delivery schedules.Assist with site surveys, contractor walkthroughs, and client site visits.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, and MacOS applications; experience with Enscape, Revit, and Rhino is a plus.A proactive, creative mindset with strong interpersonal communication skills.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.Demonstrated passion for design, architecture, and art.Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.Residential design studio experience is a plus but not required.Must be available to work in person in Manhattan.What They Offer:Personalized mentorship with the design team.Hands-on experience in luxury residential prehensive training on client-ready CAD documentation.2 weeks of paid company closure, plus additional vacation and sick days.This role is an excellent fit for someone eager to build their career in the luxury design field while working with a renowned NYC studio.
