The Logistics Infrastructure includes 9 warehouses in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, housing 4 million square feet of warehouse space. This sophisticated operation utilizes state of the art technology to meet the needs of our more than 8 million customers. Operations TrackThe Operations Intern oversees various operational areas such as shipping, receiving, pallet docking, inventory control, quality assurance, and sanitationsalvage. These positions are located across various warehouses, which include Grocery, Produce, Perishables and General Merchandise.What you will doMonitor new procedures, policies and technologiesProvide coverage for Shift Supervisor, covering for a 7-day work week, weekends, holidays, vacations and peak volume weeks (interns will work 40 hours per week)Monitor and inspect work areas to maintain high sanitation and safety standardsResponsible for insuring quality of work that increases customer satisfaction and service levelsInterns will be based out of the following warehouse location and will work the following shift:LocationsShiftsGrocery West - Breinigsville, PA1st Shift (6am-2:30pm)What we are looking forMust be at least 18 years oldMust have completed 24 college credits with a 3.0 cumulative GPA or betterWill be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate school for fall Successful completion of a substance abuse test is requiredValid driver's license and flexibility with regard to travel requiredStrong interpersonal, analytical, and customer service skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectivelyExcellent communication skills (written, oral and presentation)Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint required)Ability to exhibit proper business etiquette when dealing with all levels of the organizationPrevious work experience in a retail environment is beneficialMust have flexibility with regard to schedule which can include a 7-day work week, weekends, holidays, vacations and peak volume weeks (interns will work 40 hours per week)Company PerksVibrant Food Centric CultureCorporate Training and Development University Collaborative Team EnvironmentEducational WorkshopsNetworking OpportunitiesVolunteer Opportunities
