Creative 3D Technologies (C3DT) is an award-winning Austin-based Machinery Manufacturing startup. As the world seeks more sustainable, efficient, and supply chain-resilient manufacturing systems, Creative 3D Technologies is pioneering the future of where & how production is done. The company invented a more advanced technology called Single-Cell Manufacturing, but is easing people into the vision with a Single-Cell 3D Printing technology. In other words, one system capable of moving in the right directions, taking in the right chemicals, having sufficient rigidity & precision (etc.) to encompass polar opposite manufacturing types at the same time. E.g. one machine can do anything from resin-level detail 3D printing, to with a simple module swap furniture printing, fiber printing, ceramic printing, (and later on...) to semiconductor fab, to milling, to wiring, to assembly (list goes on,) and even leverage several functions at the same time. Our eventual goal is to deliver one machine that can take in physical inputs and create an entire end-use product end-to-end.Currently, the company is adopting Amazon's strategy of attacking the market. Despite having a technology that can be the retailer of everything (or in our case manufacture many things), we're focusing on one market at first, 3D Printing, and blitzing it with unmatched pricing and value. After gaining market leadership, we're leveraging market presence & our technology stack to move from simply selling in 1 manufacturing market to then selling in 2, 3 (and so forth) by slowly releasing technology add-on modules that help drive the perception that one machine can do much more than one simple task. The company is seeking an agile, high-performing Sales Team Lead capable of selling a dynamic manufacturing product to help in this pursuit. Pioneer the future with us if you are ready to join a dynamic, forward-thinking company leading the way in the 4th industrial revolution.Role DescriptionWe seek a Sales Team Lead to join the early Working cross-functionally with the CEO & operations, you will be leading the company's sales operations. You'll be managing the sales department, operating as a key deal closer within it, and responsible for its operations. You'll be refining and implementing current and new sales systems & process, hiring and expanding the commission sales team, and, most importantly, driving revenue to the company.This position is performance-driven. Initially, this position will offer a base salary, a high, uncapped, gross commission on all sales the Team Lead is responsible for, and management commission on the sales team working under the Director. C3DT believes in retaining high-preforming talent once they've proven themselves within the company; as a result, higher base salary, options, additional benefits, and a C-Level executive growth plan have been identified for the missions are VERY competitive, are a large percentage of the gross amount of the sale, & are paid in full upon close. Key Responsibilities:Operate as a high-performing deal closer for the company. Leads come through and are nurtured and brought by your Sales Team as far as they can take them before you act as the closer.Maintain, Implement, and Build Out current & future deal flow + sales structure & procedures.Serve as a Leader to the Sales Team by managing the sales team and assisting the CEO in expanding as-needed.Ground-level directly calling & working on leads in processes you will train others in.Establish new client relationships and assist in maintaining current relationships with key partners.Work on as-needed initiatives with the cross-functional team such as tradeshows, material development, and meetings.Provide reports to the CEO on the Sales Team's progress, output, and traction.This position involves commuting. The selected candidate will be required to work full-time on-site at the company's HQ in Austin, Texas. A workspace will be provided. The company does not offer free relocation but can recommend resources to assist in the process. This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements. Therefore, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.What We Offer Compensation:$65k Base SalaryUncapped Sales Team Lead-Specific Gross Commission StructureExpected Gross Compensation Per Year: $279kYr - $512kYr (assuming a minimum of 5 unit sales per month for the $279k number. Any more per month would result in a higher number. Customer orders range between 1 and 4,000 units.)Management Commissions - Earn a flat 3% commission on all sales procured by the team you're managing.Capital Commission - Earn a flat 5% commission on any external capital you drive for the business through grants, investments, or other processes.Benefits - PTO, HMO Healthcare Plan, & additional fringe benefits following an introductory period.Mandatory Qualifications:2+ Years of referencable of Manufacturing Machinery Sales Experience.Strong, referencable, sales track record of driving high revenues in previous positions.2 - 5 years of experience operating in a high-pressure sales environment (e.g., B2B sales, manufacturing, or other high-performance sales roles).1+ Years of referencable experience professionally leading a team.Experience working in early-staged startup environments.Skills: Strong sales leadership, communication, and client relationship management abilities.Mindset: Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a commission-driven dustry Knowledge: Direct experience working in sales within Manufacturing Machinery. Experience doesn't need to be 3D printing-specific, though will be preferred.Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.Why Join Us?
