Must Haves:3+ years of audio video experience with latest devices- TVs, streaming device, cell phones, platforms, etc.Prior experience with Ethernet and Internet traffickingExperience working in a multimedia lab or lab environmentNetworking knowledge: configuring wires & cables, securing routing networks, hardware, network switchesBuilding different racks and cabinets - test devices, auto, video, etcGood personality & communicationBachelor's Degree in a related field Plusses:Experience within the multimedia or streaming industry Day-to-Day:Insight Global is hiring for a Streaming AV Tech to sit in New York, NY for a large, streaming & entertainment company. This Streaming AV Tech will be joining their Global DTC Quality Assurance & Engineering team. This Streaming AV Tech will be reporting into the Network Manager and responsible for building & developing labs, building different racks & cabinets for test devices, equipment setup, VPN setup (both onshore & offshore), ethernet trafficking, and coordinating with facilities to ensure racks and labs are configured assembled properly. Furthermore, this Streaming AV Tech needs to have experience working in a multimedia lab environment and have experience on the latest devices ( TVs, streaming devices, cell phones, etc. Occasional travel may be required if needing assistance at other testing lab in CT.
