Job descriptionD.F. Pray, Inc., a single-source contractor providing a wide range of services that include design build, preconstruction, construction management and general contracting, is looking for a Project Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for leading teams in the construction of projects ensuring project quality, schedule, cost control, safety and customer satisfaction objectives are met. This individual will plan, organize and control all resources (people and materials) for the successful execution of a project. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job related responsibilities and duties as assigned andor as necessary.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAn individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions on this position with or without a reasonable municate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally andor in writing (e.g. customers, suppliers, employees). Maintain relationship to ensure needs are met and problemsconflicts are resolved.Manages multiple projects concurrentlyImplement and maintain an effective construction safety and security programImplement and maintain effective management, planning, and cost control systemsMonitor the projects fiscal, administrative, personnel, procurement, warehousing, and office servicesAdvise management of developments that may affect project profit, costs, schedules, and client relationsReview and approve master schedules, estimates and all updates. Maintain historical informationIdentify and evaluate risk that may have an impact on the project Maintain effective contingency plans for potential problems concerning labor activity, fire, storms, etc.Responsible for obtaining all required licenses for constructionReview and approve construction operation plansImplement and maintain an effective quality control processKnowledgeable of Contract terms and conditions and Subcontract terms and conditionsAdminister contracts in accordance with policies and procedures for the maximum benefit of the companyDetermine construction staffing requirements in cooperation with managementProvide support and guidance for the personal and professional development of project personnelEstablish and maintain communications to ensure accurate and timely flow of informationApprove and issue monthly status reports to keep management informed on construction progress, direct and indirect construction costs and forecasts and other activities that are a part of the workParticipate in business development activities and promote productive client relationshipsResponsible to ensure job status reports are properly reviewed with project team prior to issuancePrepare and publish the project completion report including the evaluation of all subcontractorsAssist with conceptual estimating, budgeting and pricing as required. Must be willing to travel if required.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and 7-10 years related experience andor training or equivalent combination of education and experienceThorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); craft agreements, jurisdiction, negotiations, engineering, cost control schedules, and safety required.Ability to read, analyze and interpret business documents, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding, customer driven environmentMust possess superior organizational skillsWorking knowledge of Procore Project Management software, scheduling and job costing software, and Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, OutlookKnowledge of Auto Cad, Solid Works, Inventor, or similar an assetAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
