The role oversees the design, implementation, maintenance, performance, security, availability, recoverability and support of the company's hardware and infrastructure systems. In addition, the role assists in anticipating future information technology needs and identifies solutions based on changing strategic directions and growth. Essential Functions Employee must have regular attendancepunctuality, be able to work with others at all levels of the company. Other assigned duties include the following as it pertains to network infrastructure. Network infrastructure includes, but not limited to, network equipment such as routers and switches, servers, computer, and mobile devices. Manages IT staff: assigns tasks, training, coaching, communicates job expectations and conducts performance reviews. Assesses current and future technologies to recommend implementation to keep and advance the company IT infrastructure. Supports desktop hardware, desktop connectivity and mobile devices at an advanced Level 2 or 3 after Level 1 IT staff has assessed. Works with Senior Leadership to strategize and develop growth of the company infrastructure as the company grows. Designs, develops, implements, and coordinates systems, policies, and procedures. Works with IT staff to build out end user training programs and procedures as well as creating an IT infrastructure diagram. Ensures security of data, network access, storage capacity and backup systems. Assists with creating annual budget and ensures cost effectiveness which includes cost benefit analysis. Works as the lead contact with outside IT vendors. Controls and evaluates IT and electronic data operations, including mobile administration, Microsoft applications, phone system, etc. Manages IT security risk by performing audits to systems individually and with outside HIPAA compliance consultants to continually mitigate and assess areas of risk. Works with IT staff to identify problematic areas and implement short- and long-term strategic solutions. Confers with upper-level management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications and emerging technologies. Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has supervisory responsibilities over Network Manager, Network Engineers and Help Desk Technicians.
