Our client is looking for a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback. RESPONSIBILITIES:QA Manager Position requires to follow all responsibility for the department as per departmental description procedures.Responsibilities include some of the daily management of Quality Control functions including:Receiving, First Article, In-Process, Final and Roving Inspection and Testing, supplier management. Management of Quality Records, calibration, and traceability. Direct supervision of Quality Inspectors, Quality Engineers Management and compliance to IATF16949, ISO9001 & ISO14001 systems and VDA.Customer communications (Internal & External) related to continuous improvement, audits, customer specific KPI's. Prepare documents and information for execution of Customer related concerns (CAR- 8D).Perform some limited Quality Planning functions IE, design reviews, some PPAP documentation, operator instructions, assembly aids etc. Product Safety RepresentativePerform auditsCorporate KPI'sTraining as requiredEDUCATIONEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Position requires a minimum of a BS Mechanical Industrial Engineering, andor 10 years' experience Quality Management or equivalent. Individual should possess an in-depth knowledge of metal stamping insert molding process stages & requirements with potential variables and feelers.Working knowledge in various quality theories and applications including Lean Practices, SPC, VDA, and basic metrology.
