It owns and operates a portfolio of news and entertainment television networks, a motion picture company, television production operations, a television stations group, theme parks, and a suite of Internet-based businesses.Job Description: Role Purpose:This strategic sourcing manager will be responsible for leading the sourcing activities for projects across the Selling General and Administrative (SG&A) category.These services will include, but are not limited to, Financial Services, Professional Services and HR related services. The strategic sourcing manager analyzes data and works with internal business partners to identify opportunities, develop strategies, develop, and manage RFx's, and negotiate agreements in this area.Must have the ability to think analytically, work independently and manage multiple competing priorities.Responsibilities:Analyze spend data from a variety of sources to develop and implement sourcing strategies.Build pricing models and financial analysis in support of negotiation strategies.Negotiate and implement deals that maximize cost savings, improve service levels, mitigate contractual risks, and createsimproves overall value for Client for the category areas mentioned above.Manage RFx process utilizing sourcing best practices.Negotiate contracts with a focus on commercial termsDevelop project plans, deliverables, metrics and milestones. Implement process disciplines and management systems necessary to achieve desired results.Qualifications:Basic Requirements:Minimum 5 years procurement experience in a sophisticated sourcing environment.Bachelor's Degree in Business , law or related field..Must be willing to work in New York, NY; generally contributing from the office a minimum of 3 days per week.Strong proficiency in all stages of the sourcing life cycle (from market analysis to procure to pay), especially the negotiation of contractual agreements.Cost Modeling: Ability to understand cost drivers and how to break down cost structuresDesired Characteristics:Skills and flexibility to assume a variety of projects in the aforementioned categories is required.Quantitative analytics skills including the ability to analyze complex data and build cost munication and Interpersonal skills including crisp verbal skills plus effective listening skills; effective facilitation skills.Execution skills including persistent drive for results utilizing sound project management, organizational and problem-solving skills.TekWissen® Group is an equal opportunity employer supporting workforce diversity.
