As an integral part of our taproom management, you will assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Responsibilities:Operations Management:Assist in daily operations of the tap room, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring cleanliness, and organization.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking of supplies.Oversee service standards and ensure accuracy in every single transaction.Reset guest areas as needed to ensure each guest experiences the same high level of service, no matter the occupancy or busy nature of the taproom. Ensure all guests receive world class service from start to finish of all experiences they have at Manhattan Project Beer Company. Customer Service:Provide excellent customer service by greeting patrons, answering questions, and resolving issues or concerns promptly.Ensure all staff maintain high standards of customer interaction and service.Actively engage with customers to promote new products, events, and retail.Staff Supervision and Training:Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising taproom staff.Assist with managing staffing levels to ensure efficient operations.Provide coaching and support to team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.Areas of Accountability:Maximize the Customer Experience. Ensure quality control of products served, including checking freshness and maintaining tap lines.Uphold standards of cleanliness and sanitation in compliance with health and safety regulations.Monitor and enforce compliance with alcohol service laws and company policies.Promotions and Events:Assist in planning, organizing and executing taproom catering events. Use skills within Toast to manage all catering orders, answer emails and phone calls to schedule, plan, and organize onsite events. Act as a brand ambassador for Manhattan Project Beer Company both on and off-site.Administrative Duties:Ensuring menu accuracy - by printing updated menus as needed Setting the beertender staff up for success and ensuring all side work duties are completed by all employees throughout each of their shifts Working together with management team to ensure POS is updated and accurate during all shifts Qualifications:Previous experience in hospitality, preferably in a taproom, bar, coffee shop or restaurant.Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.Ability to define the difference between service and hospitality, and provide detailed examples of their differences. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Knowledge of POS systems and basic computer proficiency.TABC and FoodHandlers Certification required
