The successful candidate will receive an attractive compensation and benefits package, including equity participation.Position DescriptionThe Director, Business Analytics will be responsible for the organization's financial modeling, business due diligence, and market analytics. Financial modeling responsibilities include the origination, review and enhancement of complex spreadsheet models, and the review of the financial models with senior management and equity investors. In supporting the financial growth of the company, this position will lead the business due diligence on transmission development projects and strategic transaction opportunities. This position will also research and monitor electric transmission market analytics related to competitors, transmission operators, and specific transmission projects and assets. This is a hybrid work position, with at least half the time in the corporate office. The position reports to the CFO and will work closely with the CEO and other members of the team.Key Responsibilities§ Lead the financial modeling activities and coordinate the review with senior management and equity investors§ Utilize strong industry and financial expertise to analyze and optimize capitalization structure, finance, tax and regulatory opportunities§ Review, analyze and forecast federal and state income tax, property tax, and sales & use tax§ Build strong relationships with internal team members and actively engage in, understand, and contribute to ISORTO greenfield development and strategic transaction opportunities§ Perform other job-related duties as assignedEducation§ Bachelor of Science in Business, Engineering or related degree is required§ Master of Business Administration degree is preferredWork Experience§ Minimum of 7 years of finance, accounting andor business development related experience§ Electric utility industry experience is preferred§ Demonstrated financial modeling expertiseSkills, Knowledge and Attributes§ Strong ability to create financial models and analyses utilizing Excel § Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze and resolve technical and complex financial issues quickly§ Knowledge of GAAP and FERC regulatory accounting standards§ Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT)§ Strong time management and organizational skills to effectively prioritize multiple projects and perform under tight deadlines § Work effectively across the internal team and build collaboration with consultants and equity investors§ Entrepreneurial spirit that can strive in and be part of building a growing organization§ Excellent written and oral communications skills § Ability to travel 10-15% of working days
