Sincere Developers and Builders is adding an Account Executive to its growing team of construction professionals to originate new business opportunities and help convert them into contract awards ("wins"). The ideal candidate for this position has a proven track record of finding and developing client relationships, work with estimating team to close the sales cycle and manage client expectations throughout the construction project. The measure of success for this position is the volume of opportunities created and contract awards per year. A successful individual should be able to generate a steady volume of new qualified opportunities in the company's private market sectors and support the team in converting project leads into project awards. The position reports to the President and Vice President of the Company.Duties and ResponsibilitiesGenerating opportunities and converting wins by:Reach out to new prospective leadsMaintain Company's CRM databaseMaintain client contacts and relationships that generate new business opportunitiesCollaborate with Sincere's executive, estimating, and operations team members to move opportunities to closing stageIs the main point of contact with customer through the RFQ, RFP, and closing phaseMaintaining contact with the customer through pre-development and early preconstruction phasesKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesHigh level of sophistication, strong knowledge of our business and clients' businessesIs an experienced networker who excels in developing relationships with business partners; a highly relationship-focused individualDeep understanding of commercial real estate business principles- experience delivering commercial real estate projectsStrong leadership abilities - consistent, professional, and polished in communicationStrong negotiating skills and ability to offer unique solutions and alternativesIs a strong critical thinker who understands how our pursuit efforts need to fit with our overall business strategy, and is capable of discerning quality business opportunitiesWell-developed strategy skills and ability to see opportunities to influence sales outcomesHigh level of technical project experience that can demonstrate knowledge to the customer and the internal Sincere team.Job SpecificationsMinimum of 5 years of successful experience in generating and securing awards for a general contractor or CM firmMinimum of 10 years' experience in the industry overall.Has background in operations or estimating for a contractorArticulate and polished individual with a proven ability of establishing credibility and securing new relationships at a high level.Drive to achieve results, be persistent and willing to overcome adversity in the sales processThe right individual will be persuasive in interpersonal communications, and assertive when needed.
