Our team of consultants provides services, counsel, and proven solutions to enable the companies we partner with continue to grow, evolve, and lead. We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join our team and be part of our Integration Management Office (IMO) practice area. The IMO Senior Consultant plays a critical role in all acquisitions and major transformations. Specifically, they will support the investment team and portfolio companies during the pre-close and 180-day post-close phases of platform and add-on integrations, including overseeing integration planning and execution while resolving issues to ensure smooth transitions and achieve desired outcomes. The IMO Senior Consultant identifies opportunities and risks, proactively addressing them to drive outcomes. This position demands strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively lead and coordinate cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Integration Management Office (IMO): Lead the IMO process during mergers, acquisitions, or other organizational integrations. Develop and execute detailed integration plans, timelines, and roadmaps in collaboration with stakeholders. Facilitate cross-functional alignment to ensure successful integration of processes, systems, and teams. Identify and mitigate risks associated with integration activities. Drive synergy tracking and realization while maintaining business continuity. Operational Efficiency: Analyze current operational processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks. Design and implement streamlined processes and solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Leverage data-driven approaches and tools to measure operational performance and identify areas for improvement. Portfolio Engagement & Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership teams, providing expert guidance on integration and operational efficiency. Lead workshops, strategy sessions, and status updates. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and commitment to project goals. Collaborate with internal teams to share best practices and ensure consistency across engagements. Risk Management and Issue Mitigation Identify and mitigate key risk areas, including: Ineffective process and structures. Lack of accountability or proper escalation pathways. Poor communication and change management planning. Misalignment in financial goals, systems integration, people integration, and customer management. Process Optimization: Apply Lean (or similar) principles and methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Conduct value stream mapping, Kaizen events, and root cause analysis. Establish KPIs and benchmarks to track the success of optimization initiatives. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery and within budget. Utilize project management tools and frameworks to track progress and report on key milestones. Develop and present reports, dashboards, and executive summaries to communicate project status and outcomes. Requirements:3-5 years of experience with M&A integrations, program management, and process optimization. Proven track record of successfully managing complex integration projects and driving operational improvements. Knowledge of M&A processes and post-merger integration best practices. Experience in consulting or client-facing roles. Strong understanding of program management principles, frameworks, and methodologies. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in project management tools and analytics software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related field.
