Our client is a growing NYC Alternative Investments Firm, seeking to add an experienced VP add to their Investor RelationsClient Solutions team in NYC. In this position you will support the development and execution of firms communication with investors and other external stakeholders, shaping their perception of the Firm.Ideal individual should be well versed with proven track record of effectively working with institutional investors from pensionsendowmentsconsultants and asset allocators. In this VP role you will be asked to manage a small team (1-3pp) so prior management experience is strongly preferred.Primary duties and responsibilitiesPartner with the Global Head of Business Development to manage all aspects of the Investor Relations function for firmManage Client Service efforts by working strategically with internal and external team to accomplish goalDevelop, implement, and lead certain processes and solution design strategies on behalf of the Executive TeamTarget and nurture relationships with sophisticated institutional investors; pension funds, endowments, foundations and consultantsDevelop strategic and analytical frameworks for investor relations and business development effortsResponsible for preparing and analyzing detailed investment reports ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial insights to investors including collaborating with internal finance teams to provide data driven support and content for investor relations activitiesFormalize and implement a business plan and strategy to introduce firm to new investorsAttend meetings, industry events, and conferences with PM's to meet with potential investors and to represent the firmPrepare CFO and other members of senior management for meetings with currentprospective shareholdersIdentify and work with business stakeholders to implement standard methodologies for operational processes and system optimizationsPrepare & present due diligence findings to investment committees, Senior Management and Firm Clients.Qualifications9+ years of applicable professional experience, with at least 5 years of experience in sales, strategy consulting investment bank, or direct Hedge Fund MarketingInvestor Relations.Strong and well-developed analytic, problem-solving and quantitative skill, with exceptional attention to detailBABS degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Marketing or a related field.Advanced degree (MBA) strongly preferredResults-orientation with an ability to take initiative, execute and complete deliverables in a timely mannerDeep understanding of Private EquityAlternative Asset Management andor Real Estate requiredStrong leadership potential, with excellent inter-personal skills and collaboration abilitiesExcellent communication and presentation skills, ability to interact with all levels of the organization
