We are currently looking to hire a Regional Project Engineering Director for our client based in Atlanta, this is a hybrid role. They are a market leading EPC who over the last 3 years have seen exponential growth and are looking to hire a regional director for this reason.The Regional Director will be responsible for leading the team in the execution of projects and programs for local clients within the Georgia region. The team will consist of Engineering (Integrity, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural, Process), DesignDrafting, Project Management and will be responsible for reporting and management of the officegroup performance, this role reports directly to the Vice President.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and disseminate periodic reports regarding the office activity and progress against stated goals. Address deviations from projections in a pro-active manner.Direct local safety and quality programs. Ensure work product compliance with all government regulations and company policies regarding these programs.Work with the VP to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained. Participate in weekly staffing resource allocation meetings.Manage existing client relations, including contracts, projects, and opportunities.Frequent and consistent networking and business development with existing clients to maintain and identify new business opportunities.Foster relationships with new regional clients and develop a Regional Strategy Plan Business DevelopmentResponsible for work in the region using local resources and utilizing other company officesresourcesWork closely with the other Regional Leads, Directors, Vice Presidents and Principals to leverage relationships and expertiseDevelop a training plan for employees in the region.Lead local management teamManage seconded personnel contracts, budgets, accruals and invoicingTo be successful in this role you will need to have a bachelor's degree in engineering (or similar field), a minimum of 8 years' experience in a relevant industry, a PE license and engineering leadership experience. In return you will be offered a strong base salary and an excellent peripheral package. Knowledge of Energy Markets and Clients in AtlantaGeorgia region alongside a PE or PMP preferred.
