Staffing Boutique (is pleased to announce a long term TEMP position at a charter school located in Harlem, New York.POSITION: 2nd Grade ICT TeacherORGANIZATION: Charter SchoolLOCATION: New York, NY 10026FULLY ON SITE - 5 days a weekSTART DATE: ASAPEnd Date: June 2025Hourly Pay (Will commensurate with experience)If this sounds like a fit for you, please include a word document of your resume and I will contact you if you're best fit for any of the roles we have availableQualifications:A master's degree (or higher) in educationAppropriate New York State teaching certification (or reciprocal certification from another state) or documented progress toward certificationTwo or more years of teaching experience preferred Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and facilitate academically rigorous and student-centered literacy, math and social-emotional instruction, aligned with the school's curriculum and philosophy.Plan and implement differentiated instruction across subject areas to support our diverse student learners, including students with special education services, students identified as multilingual learners, students receiving academic interventions and students who are accelerated.Assess and analyze student progress across subjects to develop interventions and extensions for student learning.Foster and promote the school's values to ensure a positive, caring, responsive and safe learning environment with structures that are both inviting and containing.Collaborate with colleagues and key stakeholders within Harlem Link's professional learning structures, such as but not limited to Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), coaching, and training to develop best practices and grow as an educator in order to meet the academic outcomes for students.Strengthen partnerships with families through persistent communication, such as but not limited to phone calls, use of Parent Square messaging tool, special events and conferences.
