Our rapid and robust growth requires additional personnel to bolster our operations on the ground.We are currently seeking multiple sales representatives to join our growing sales team.Responsibilities:Represent Lumber Plus professionally with customers and specific account assignmentsPrimary owner of customer relationship with day-to-day customer relationsRegular frequency of quality sales calls to customers and prospectsIntroduce new products and make joint sales calls with vendor representativesAssist the sales team as necessary and develop a strong and positive working relationship with the teamDevelop new business; identify prospective customers by utilizing market intelligence databases, as well as business directories, following leads from existing customersUse the HubSpot CRM system as a sales tool to record activities and facilitate transactional follow-up in compliance with company guidelinesDemonstrate a competent understanding of spec sheets, and submittal requirements for your customers on their key job sitesRequirementsQualificationsSkills:Demonstrate a strong ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.MUST have prior building materials sales experienceMust be goal-oriented, have personal integrity, and have a sense of urgency.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Responsible for selling and maintaining current sales and promotions policies, policies regarding payment, exchanges, and security practices.Maintain records related to sales.Answers incoming calls for the department.Must be organized and have good time management skills.Possesses strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.Maintains excellent regular attendance, and punctuality at work to ensure a high-quality and timely response for customers.Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals.Must be able to bend and lift 50lbsMust be able to sit and work in front of a computer for an extended period of timeMust have a valid driver's license; driver background check must show a record of sustained safe driving.EducationExperience:At least 5+ years experience in building material sales. (Your resume must represent experience in this industry. If not, it will be automatically rejected.)Experience in the lumber industry is a PLUS.Must be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the U.SBilingual in Spanish or Portuguese a PLUS.Must be willing and able to travel to and from work, and potentially to job sites as well.
