A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU: The person hired for this role will be excited about working for an early stage startup and bring a strong background to the table, which may include things like strong blue-chip company history (bonus for database company experience), a strong computer science education (bonus for top 10 engineering schools) and of course, experience at a fast growth startup company. REQUIREMENTS:My client is looking for candidates who bring the following to the table:4+ years in development and 2+ years of production experience with RustKnowledge of data streaming, event-driven architectures, ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) or change data capture (CDC) techniquesStrong expertise in databases, including a deep understanding of transactional databases, query optimization, and database internals.LOCATIONThe co-founders are in SF (California, US), so there is a slight preference for SF local candidates but they are open to direct-hire candidates from anywhere in the US.SALARY The budgeted salary for this role ranges from 150K - 200K salary, and 0.5% - 1% equity. There could be flex for the right candidate.
