Job Title: KDB DeveloperLocation: New York City, NY (Onsite)Work Type: Full TimeJob Description:-Role and Responsibilities:Organize and lead project teams throughout the project life cycle for Front-end development.Develop secure and scalable backend systems using server-side languages and frameworks (e.g., Python with Django, Java with Spring).Leverage KDB for data ingestion and querying.Develop and maintain APIs for data exchange with front-end applications.Design and implement databases to store and manage application data.Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.Understand and implement DevOps practices for application deployment and maintenance.Experience in designing and developing applications that can handle high volume and ensure continuous operation.Micro services infra experience is a bonus but not requiredExcellent communication and presentation skillsEncourages best practice sharing and collaboration to optimize team processes and constantly keeps the business and client internal customer at the forefrontUnderstands & anticipates Client business needs concerns & issues, and monitors progress to achieve results Qualifications:3+ years of experience in KDB development. - MUST HAVE5+ years of experience in backend development.Experience with a server-side language and framework (e.g., Python with Django, Java with Spring, Node.js with Express).Proven experience with KDB+ and q programming, including data ingestion, manipulation, and querying.Strong experience in database architecture, schema design and performance tuning.Experience with API development and integration.Strong understanding of database design, data modelling and management principles.Experience with DevOps practices and tools.Familiarity with market risk concepts (a plus).Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
