This job is offering $28-$34hr depending on experience.Our Diesel Technicians generally assist in the repair and diagnosis of major components or removereplace major components of various truck and trailer equipment. Maintain and Repair: Perform maintenance on diesel engines including, commercial vehicles, tractor-trailers, and heavy equipment and conduct DOT inspections Inspect and Replace Parts: Inspect, repair, and replace defective or worn parts such as bearings, pistons, and gears. Overhaul Systems: Overhaul and test major components including engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems. Manage Parts: Order parts, provide status updates, and document corrective actions efficiently. Ensure Safety: Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing safety and professionalism. Adapt and Assist: Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to take on additional duties as assigned.Qualifications for our Diesel Technician positions: Must possess a valid US driver's license and have personal tools (specialty tools provided). Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods. DOT Inspections, diesel engine maintenance Qualified to do DOT inspections and have at least 2 years of hands-on experience with diesel engines and equipment, commercial vehicles, tractor-trailers andor heavy equipment machines At least 2 years of experience with diagnostic experience: diesel emissions aftertreatment systems, electrical, air conditioning, powertrain Experience as a diesel engine mechanic with commercial vehicles, tractor-trailers, and heavy equipment Electrical diagnostic experience, air conditioning diagnostic experience, powertrain diagnostic experience, welding experience, PTO hydraulic systems and live walking floor trailers Experience with Kenworth, Peterbilt, Ford and Sterling brand commercial vehicles 2 years of experience with stick welding & wire welding Brakes & air conditioning certificationsTo Apply: Apply Now or call Dominique @ 205-775-7537
