We're seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager for a contract role starting in January 2025. This hybrid position offers the chance to make an impact in a global organization, driving strategic initiatives and transformational projects within flexible packaging.NOTE: Candidates must have flexible packaging sourcing experience.Key Responsibilities:Drive category performance for flexible packaging with a focus on value creation, supply security, and sustainability.Identify and deliver savings, efficiency, growth, and sustainability opportunities.Lead transformational projects, such as incorporating recycled content into packaging formats and simplifying materials for supply chain efficiency.Manage RFIs, RFPs, eAuctions, and develop supplier negotiation strategies.Conduct market trend analysis, price risk management, and annual budgeting forecasts.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders across R&D, Quality, Operations, and Finance.Develop and execute implementation plans to ensure sourcing benefits are fully realized.Qualifications:5+ years in Procurement, including 2+ years in Flexible Packaging Sourcing Proven leadership: Communication, Negotiation, Analytical Thinking, and Problem Solving.Experience in global procurement environments, ideally within FMCG or retail.Knowledge of commodity markets, price mitigation strategies, and supplier management concepts.Tech-savvy with experience in eProcurement tools.Ability to travel up to 20% and excel in a fast-paced, collaborative, and goal-driven environment.Ability to influence change and lead complex business issues.
