Position Name: Medical assistantContract Duration: 13-WeeksJob Location: Hazlet, NJShift: Days (M-F 5*8)Pay: $23-$25hrManager's note: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM Rotation M-T 8am-8pm F 8am-5pm and Saturday 9am-11am No Holidays or On-CallJob Duties:1. Enters orders into the electronic medical record (EMR) system or prepares prescription refill requests on behalf of the physician for the review and approval by the ordering physician.2. Inventories, orders, or re-stocks medical supplies as applicable.3. Provides set-up of examination room and instruments by proper sterilization techniques established by hospital and infection control policies.4. Maintains logging system as required for refrigeration of medications, point of care testing, sterilization process, crash cart, point of care testing or others as needed.5.
