LaSalle Network is looking for a Supply Planner for one of our clients who is a leader in the confectionary CPG industry. This role will focus on managing supply and production planning across multiple plants, ensuring optimal inventory levels and seamless coordination with cross-functional teams. The Supply Planner will play a pivotal role in supporting everyday and seasonal product portfolios while contributing to the company's operational success. This hybrid role is based in downtown Chicago, requiring three days on-site and occasional travel to other production locations. Supply Planner Responsibilities:Collaborate with plant schedulers to ensure proper service levels and inventory build quantitiesTrack and execute SKU builds, providing status updates to management on adherence to plans, delays, risks and recommendations to mitigate impactPartner with Brand Managers, Operations Business Managers and Production Planners on product changes, rollouts and issue resolution, minimizing obsolescenceLead issue resolution across supply chain functions to address surfaced challenges and ensure smooth operationsEnsure adherence to company policies, procedures and core values in all supply planning activitiesMaintain regular updates in weekly meetings, focusing on root cause analysis and trade-off recommendationsTravel to other plants as needed to support cross-site collaboration and supply chain optimization Supply Planner Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering or Operations Management preferred3+ years of experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning or Operations Management, preferably in a CPG environmentExperience with multiple plants or strong collaboration across different production sites is a plusStrong mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel (managing complex datasets) and PowerPointFamiliarity with SAP software (including APO) and Business Objects; experience with Tableau is a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration across teams and leadershipAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing detail orientation with high-quality output This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a leading CPG organization by ensuring supply chain efficiency, optimizing inventory strategies and supporting seamless production planning operations.
