Supervises the operating activities of an organization, branch, plant, or department. Provides input on developing and implementing an organization's policies, practices, procedures, and attainment of operating goals. Oversees and coordinates activities of subordinate operations staff. Responsibilities:Oversee the daily activities of the department and manage the efficiency of employees.Training and supervising employeesMonitor the department's compliance with operational policies. Planning and executing departmental terprets company policies for workers and enforces company policies and practices. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet schedules. Recommends measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of products or services and suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency. Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists employees in solving work problems. Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. Prepares reports and records on department activities for management. Education, Skills, and Requirements:Requires BS in engineering with an understanding of electromechanical assemblies and pressure PneumaticHydraulic testing, Soldering, mechanical drawing, shop practices, etc. Minimum of 5 yrs. Experience is required to include time in related preparatory classifications to become familiar with products, methods, and techniques employed in assembly operations and essential to qualify technically for supervisory responsibilities.
