Your new companyHays Facilities Management are partnered with a leading cultural institution to hire a Chief Operating Engineer in NYC.Your new roleThe job duties of the Chief Operating Engineer will include the following:- Oversight of all MEP activities at the site; including critical systems related to HVAC and humidification- Provide technical guidance to teams of Engineers, scheduling, training and onboarding- Work with department on Preventive Maintenance plans and logs- Act as a liaison to both staff and guestsWhat you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate will possess the following:- Strong technical background in MEP needed- (Should be at Chief or minimum, Assistant Chief level)- Proven expertise in NYC buildings, knowing codes and regulations- Ability to respond to emergencies as needed- Technical training, NYC Refrigeration license is highly desired, as is prior experience working with a cultural institutionmuseumWhat you'll get in returnBase range between $120-130K and has a very strong benefits suite!What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
