A growing manufacturing company is looking to hire an EHS Manager for their facility outside of the Morton Grove area. The EHS Manager will be responsible for leading and ensuring EHS compliance at the site. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills and, the ability to engage with all levels of the business.The Role:Develop and implement a comprehensive EHS program and strategyMaintain compliance with ISO 14001 and 45001 certificationsProvide leadership and technical support for safety projects, problem solving, investigations including site inspections and audits, and safety activitiesAssist in developing an effective EHS communication process to make EHS priorities and performance visibleThe Candidate:*Direct experience with ISO management systems REQUIRED* (14001 andor 45001)Bachelor's Degree in Health, Safety or similar, related discipline is preferred3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to influence and engage at all levelsStrong communication and leadership skills
