The Supplier Performance Manager is the central figure in Supplier Programming and Activation, responsible for managing supplier relationships and executing sales and marketing strategies to achieve financial objectives. This role involves collaboration with suppliers, sales divisions, operations, management and customers - balancing profitable volume growth with sales capacity and supplier expectations. A broad understanding of sales, pricing, planning, budget management, and forecasting is essential. This role will also involve direct key account responsibilities with regional/local On-Premise restaurant groups. Responsibilities: Build and maintain annual plans, promotional calendars, and sales tools. Develop and coordinate sales incentives and prioritization with Sales Management. Manage pricing, profit, and inventory forecast, ensuring optimal levels. Oversee Supplier Banks, Brand Development Funds, and Local Marketing Funds. Conduct monthly inventory assessments and inventory reduction plans. Coordinate supplier meetings, reviews, ride-withs, blitzes, and target account activities. Provide input for business reviews and monthly supplier communications. Ensure brand activation and event management. Work with supplier partners to establish QBRs that highlight market strengths and opportunities tied to the results and planning for tools and resources for each market. Utilize market, brand, and supplier analytics to plan, negotiate, and support in-market activity. Oversee the creation and distribution of sales materials, POS management, and marketing strategies. Monitor and manage supplier accounts receivable and bill-backs, and ensure timely resolution with finance and accounting teams. Participate in General Sales Meetings, translating brand initiatives into actionable goals for the sales team. Create and distribute best practices around focus periods, goals, and program results. Maintain and grow regional key account relationships, own relationship with primary stakeholders/decision makers, and execute quarterly business reviews with our top 5 regional On Premise chains Primary point of contact with several regional/local restaurant and hospitality groups: maintain inventory and pricing, new items presentation, and national account mandates for strategically aligned partners at key multi-unit regional groups.
