Job Description & Skill RequirementImage Sensors team is looking for a depthimage sensor product analysisapplication engineer that helps evaluating depthimage sensors at application level and supporting Meta internal customers in integrating depthimage sensors into systems.Depthimage sensor product evaluation and application support.Execute on sensor data collection and performance analysis.Provide Off-the-shelf and custom depthimage sensors hands-on bring-up and test support.Debug evaluation boards and application use cases.Maintain sensor datasheet, application note, and reference design.Work with depthimage sensor engineers to explore various sensor functionsfeatures forsystem level use cases. Draft application notes or technical white paper to showcase the potential improvements andor alternative solutions at system level.Minimum QualificationBS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.2+ years of industry or related work experience.Experience working in an electro-optical laboratory environment.Depthimage sensor evaluation boardssystems EE debugging experience.Scripting language experience using Python, MATLAB or Perl.Experience working with scope, logic analyzer, muti-meter equipment and tools.Self-discipline, initiative, diligence, motivation with the ability to work with limitedsupervision.Excellent written and verbal communications skills.Preferred QualificationMS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.3+ years of industry experience in depthimage sensor analysis and application.Firmware development experience using CC++.EE board design and bring-up experience.Experience in MIPI DC-PHY, I2C, and I3C.Experience with SPAD array depth sensor, CMOS image sensor, ISP, sensorperformance merits and data analysis.Experience with imaging processing and image quality related to image statistics, noise,defect pixel correction.Experience with laser ranging and depth sensing quality metrics.Familiarity with camera FW and image sensor control.Familiarity with JMP or other statistical software for data automation, and visualization.QualificationBS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
