Location: United States (Remote) -- 50-75% Travel (there may be some international travel expected to Canada LATAM - however most will be US based).Key Responsibilities:Lead telephony modernization efforts on a per site basis from start of discovery to sunsetting of the legacy telephony systems.Develop and execute a comprehensive technology transition plan from Cisco and Avaya telephony systems to Microsoft Teams enterprise voice.Manage the implementation of Microsoft Teams calling plans or direct routing, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations.Provide technical expertise and support throughout the transition process, addressing any issues or challenges that arise.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.Proven experience in telephony systems, particularly with Cisco and Avaya.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams enterprise voice, including calling plans and direct routing.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Ability to adapt to changing technologies and stay current with industry trends.Preferred Qualifications:Certifications in Cisco, Avaya, or Microsoft Teams.Experience in large-scale telephony system migrations.Familiarity with network infrastructure and VoIP technologies.
