Recently, our team has spearheaded the Conversion & Go Live of apps which support the backbone of the Financial Trading Industry.We are looking for Engineers who canProvide technical and people leadership to SRE team members Continuously work to improve the reliability, stability, and performance of Enterprise Platforms (EP)Areas of focus include SLO standardization, implementation of automation, risk management (EOLvulnerabilities), incidentproblem and capacity management Coordinateinteract with other EP functions to drive overall efficiencies for the organization Participate in periodic on-call escalations based on incident severity and established SLA'sLead by example, creating a healthy and professional people culture around him her, encouraging creativity, growing and inspiring pile KPIs and evangelize the adoption of best practices in relation to performance and reliability across the organizationOversee and report on project status, delegate assignments against defined schedules and municate complete and timely status reports to Sr. LeadershipSkills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or related preferred5+ years of experience in SRE or equivalent roles in medium to large organizations2+ years of people leadership experience in medium to large organizationsHistory of effective hiring and providing mentorship and growing teamsteam membersHistory of driving and completing successful complex technical projectsExperience in Fintech is considered a plusWorking knowledge of Windows andor Linux Systems administration and networking fundamentalsWorking knowledge of implementing Observability and Alerting tools (eg Datadog, Splunk)Working knowledge automation and tools such as (but not limited to) Jenkins, Chef, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, etc.Working knowledge of cloud services, AWS preferredExperience in designing, creating and supporting Automation (PowerShell, Python, Shell)Expert level understanding of interdependencies between various infrastructure components Practical understanding of implementing SLOs and SLIsTechnical certifications are a plus (AWS, security related for example)Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to translate business requirements into technical designs, considering automation, availability, performance, scale, and cost.Ability to adapt and embrace change and support business strategy and visionAbility to communicate and present clearly and confidently to senior leadersWe work closely withAWS S3Database DesignData IntegrationJenkinsSplunk ELKAmazon VPCDatadog New Relic Wavefront PCFCICDECSLambdaOur ProcessSchedule a 15 min Video Call with someone from our Team4 Proctored GQ Tests (30-45 min Final Video InterviewReceive Job OfferIf you are interested in reaching out to us, please apply and our team will contact you within the hour.
