PRINCIPAL PLATFORM ARCHITECT HOUSTON, TEXAS (4 Days in Office 1 work from home)$170,000 - $195,000 + BONUS + BENEFITSThis automotiveretail company is seeking a Platform Architect to support the core enterprise data and machine learning platform. This role will primarily involve work around the MLAI platform. If you have a strong background in software engineering, data architecture, and experience with designing and building automated processes, this could be the position for you.ROLE OVERVIEW:Design and build automated processes and manage complex problems to efficiently solve business problemsCreate a link between the business and technology sectorsRESPONSIBILITIES:Lead the creation and evolution of a data and ML platform for the whole companyDevelop solutions roadmaps for technology platformsStay up to date with the newest and up-to-date architectural patternsBuild and maintain a data platform with high automation across the businessHandle customer data with proper policies and proceduresAssess DevSecOps value streams and identify emerging automation techniques to improve ML OpsSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Strong expertise in Databricks (preferred) or similar tools like Snowflake.Advanced knowledge of Python, YAMLTerraform, Microservices Architecture, and object-oriented principles.Extensive experience architecting applications in AWSAzure, designing CICD pipelines, and working with API Management platforms.Proven ability to develop solution roadmaps, implement automation frameworks, and guide tool selection.Proven passion and desire to get into MLAI work Must Be Authorized to Work In The US
