Role: Senior Account ExecutiveAbout us:Shoplift, a venture-backed SaaS startup in New York City, empowers hundreds e-commerce merchants like KITH, Liquid Death and Tupperware to maximize their profitability by refining and personalizing their online storefronts with our intelligent, real-time UX optimization platform.Job Description:As an early member of the Sales team, you will have a unique opportunity to help refine our sales process from the ground up. Shoplift is a self-serve product, meaning our sales cycles are short, there are very few contracts or lengthy periods of negotiation, which means Product-Led Sales is the name of the game: getting merchants into the product and onto a free trial.This role calls for a strategic, creative thinker who is comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and is as comfortable doing 8 demos in a day as they are workshopping ops, infrastructure and process.Responsibilities:Manage a full sales funnel: prospecting leads to hosting demos, all the way through closing and renewalsIdentify areas of opportunity to improve our funnel and processes; proactively take on strategic initiatives to make these improvementsHelp improve develop sales documentation and materials, such as scripts, objection handling, training materials, and outbound sales development collateralEstablish and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and aligning our product offerings accordingly.Report on sales activity and forecast to leadership, providing insights into the market and competitive landscape.Collaborate closely with the customer success team to ensure smooth transition and excellent customer experience post-sales.Develop an understanding of Conversion Rate Optimization practices and trends, AB testing methodology, industry trends, market influencers, and competitor activities.Assist in the hiring and training of future sales team members as the company scales.Requirements:3+ years Proven SaaS sales experience, meeting or exceeding targets1+ years in the E-Commerce spaceExperience working with eCommerce merchantsDeep understanding of CRM systems, sales tracking, and reporting methodologies.Experience in a startup environmentExcellent abilities in conducting sales calls and demos, with a knack for compelling presentation and persuasive communication.Located in NYC metro or willing to relocate (Hybrid: in office 3 days per week)Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.What we offer:Competitive compensation that includes equity optionsFlexible remote work policyDaily Seamless lunch stipend (when in-office)Flexible work environment where you can choose when to socialize and when to focusFree food: bagels every Tuesday, pizza every Thursday, and a wide array of delicious snacksGenerous time off policy to balance your work and life, including paid parental leaveCompetitive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependentsCommuter benefits
