Our mission is to provide quality, in-home service that will allow seniors to live comfortably and independently in the familiarity of their own home.About the PositionThe Payroll Associate helps manage the day-to-day function of the Payroll and Benefits Department. They are expected to be in the office each day, respond to calls, emails and walk-in from internal and external employees, and exhibit exceptional customer service and detailed work. This position reports to the Payroll and Benefits Manager.ResponsibilitiesAssist the Payroll and Benefits ManagerManage compensation packages using payroll software·Collect and verify timekeeping information for all employees·Follow all IDoA and AUAF policies and procedures·Other duties as assignedQualificationsRequiredHigh School Diploma or GED and 2 years relevant work experienceAuthorized to work in the United StatesPass state required background checksBilingual in English and AssyrianPreferredCollege degree or equivalent experienceSpeaks a second languageTrainingComplete IDoA required Homecare Supervisor Training (HOST) within 90 days of employmentComplete 24 hours of in-service training on aging related subjects within each calendar yearComplete additional training as assigned by AUAF managementRequired SkillsKnowledge with general accounting principles and payroll systemsExperience in data collection, entry, and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentialityProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)Exceptional communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent customer serviceSuperior organization and time managementAptitude for problem-solvingPhysical RequirementsLift up to 10lbsSitting for extended periods of timeOperate office equipment (copier, fax, scanner, phone, computer)Extended periods of time on the phone, typing, and reading on a computer screenBenefitsHealth, Vision, and Dental Insurance401(k) MatchingPaid Time OffPaid HolidaysMorningAfternoon BreaksComplimentary Coffee BarWork Location: In personAUAF is an equal opportunity employer.
