Job Title: Data Engineer & Database AdministratorLocation: HybridSalary: $85,000 - $95,000Reports to: VP of TechnologyDepartment: TechnologyJob Summary:We are seeking a Hybrid Data Engineer & Database Administrator to manage our data infrastructure and pipelines, primarily within the Microsoft Fabric environment. This role involves building and optimizing scalable ETLELT pipelines, maintaining cloud & on-premise databases, and ensuring efficient data access for reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to data governance and security.Key Responsibilities:Data Engineering (50%): Build and maintain ETLELT pipelines, integrate data sources, and develop data models for analytics and reporting.Database Administration (40%): Manage cloud and on-premise databases (e.g., Azure, SQL), perform regular maintenance, optimize query performance, and ensure secure data storage.Professional Development (10%): Stay current on cloud technologies, data tools, and best practices.Qualifications:3+ years of experience in data management, database administration, and ETLELT pipeline development (Microsoft SQL, Azure, etc.).Strong experience with cloud databases (Azure, Synapse), data integration, and performance tuning.Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and data modeling.Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and automate database tasks.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders.Additional Info:Must be available for after-hours support as needed.Bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.Software experience with PDI Enterprise or Back Office a plus.Core Values: Customer Focus, Teamwork, Accountability, Passion, Quality, and Community Centric.
