Santé is a modern POS for liquor stores. This market has historically been overlooked by software companies, and we believe we can scale to $100M+ ARR in a few years. We grew 27x (2,600%) in 2024 and are expecting to double our customer base in just the next 3 months.We are looking for an entrepreneurial full-stack software engineer to be our first hire in the US. In this role, you will work closely with the co-founders to drive the direction of the product and build innovative software for tens of thousands of business owners.Who you'll work withYou will report to Antoine, Santé's Co-Founder and CTO, who is a UC Berkeley alum with a decade of experience building software. Over the last ten years, he co-founded 3 startups that generated $34M in pre-sales, raised $20M, and built teams of 50+ engineers. You will work closely with him to build an industry leading product and world-class engineering team.What you'll work onYou will help build a full-feature modern POS system. You will have a hand in everything from talking to customers, prioritizing features, and hiring. As we grow the team, you will have opportunities to explore a wide range of technical and managerial roles.Requirements3+ years of experience as a ReactNextjs developer.Proficient in all the components of the T3 stack.Strong DevOps experience with AWS and Vercel.Strong knowledge of software development principles, including database design, algorithms, and data structures.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies, and enthusiasm to contribute at all levels of the stack as needed.Our valuesIntensity: you enjoy working at a pace that most would find uncomfortable.
