Avo Photonics (is a dynamic contract engineering services company that designs, develops, and manufactures custom opto-electronic products for a large customer base. Members of our staff can design, prototype, and produce next generation products for a diverse range of markets including environmental, medical, military, industrial, aerospace, and communications.We seek a diligent, dedicated, and meticulous Manufacturing Planner who will help to further our success and reputation in the industry through world-class customer service. The successful candidate must plan hisher own work schedule, keep multiple records, be self-motivated, maintain a professional presence, and have the desire to take ownership of projects.Responsibilities:Establish daily and weekly production build schedules to meet customer demandRelease and distribute production orders to meet build schedulesMaintain subassembly stock to appropriate levelsEnsure production jobs close accurately and within the defined periodCoordinate with Inventory and Manufacturing to resolve any material issuesPresent open job status regularly to enable problem resolutionAnalyze demand and identify any potential material shortages; alert Program Managers when new orders are neededManage routings and Bills of Material within ERPMES systemsWork with Finance to set-up new items in ERP systemRequirements:B.S. in Operations Management or equivalent experience3+ years of Manufacturing Planning experience with ERP systemsHighly proficient in spreadsheet applicationsComfortable working in cleanroom environmentProven ability to communicate and lead effectively across organizationsExperience leading teams for problem resolutionAbility to communicate in English clearly and conciselyApply: Avo Photonics offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
