We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer to manage and automate deployment, maintenance, and monitoring processes for on-premises systems. This role is ideal for a professional with experience in hybrid environments, combining technical expertise with strong problem-solving abilities to ensure robust and efficient system performance.Key ResponsibilitiesAutomate deployment and maintenance processes for on-premises systems using tools like Ansible and Python scripting.Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to design, deploy, and monitor robust systems in unique operational locations.Manage and monitor on-premises infrastructure, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.Implement and maintain telemetry and monitoring solutions to provide actionable insights into system health and performance.Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and network issues promptly.Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between on-premises and cloud systems.Required Qualifications6-8 years of experience in LinuxUnix systems administration.At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform and scripting with Python or Bash. Strong knowledge of on-premises infrastructure management and its unique challenges.An understanding of networking concepts, routing, switches and protocols.Proven ability to operate effectively in hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.Experience with system monitoring and telemetry solutions.Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with distributed systems and the challenges associated with unique operational settings such as mining, custody or storage of cryptocurrencies. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments.Effective communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
