They aim to create a cutting-edge fact-checking data platform to allow the development of accurate & trustworthy AI Applications.Position: Vice President of AI & MLLocation: Hybrid San FranciscoKey ResponsibilitiesAI Strategy Development: Lead the design and implementation of the companies AI strategy to enhance data verification processTeam Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing AI research and development teamTechnical Innovation: Drive the development of proprietary AI algorithms and models tailored for real-time fact-checkingCollaboration: Work closely with other departments (Product, Engineering, Marketing) to integrate AI capabilities into the companies core offeringThought Leadership: Represent the companies at industry conferences, workshops, and in media to promote our AI advancementsQualificationsEducational Background: Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related fieldsExperience: 8+ years of experience in AIML. The individually would preferably come from a broad NLP background solving problems around Search, Information Retrieval, Reasoning and hallucinationsTechnical Skills: Must be proficient in building architectures and rolling up your sleeves to code. Proficiency in AIML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), data analysis, and large-scale algorithm deploymentExperience transitioning AI products from research to productionIndustry Knowledge: Deep understanding of NLPLLM applications in fact-checking, data integrity, and information verification.
